RH829Salisbury Oxfam’s Art Gallery, Oxhibitions, latest exhibition is Art Work by Rod Hague, entitled AFRICAN AFTERNOON.

Using brightly coloured acrylics, etchings, constructions in 3D and embroideries, the exhibition is a delight of contemporary work with an African theme.

Rod has been a full time artist since the early eighties, including working in stained glass in the early nineties. He has had work shown in many local and national exhibitions, including one-man shows, most recently at Shaftesbury Art Centre

Michelle Faifax, Oxfam Salisbury shop manager said: ‘we are absolutely delighted to be showing work by Rod. It is vibrant and different and the African theme fits in with work being done by Oxfam to end poverty and suffering there’

The exhibition will run from 10th July through until 7th August 2009, Monday – Saturday, 10.00am -4.00pm and can be found in the first floor above the Oxfam shop in Catherine Street, Salisbury.

There is free admission throughout the exhibition.

Commission on works sold goes toward Oxfam’s work overseas to end poverty and suffering.
